Well, dear fairies, my birthday has come and gone, I had a small private party to celebrate, had a cute and delicious cake and saw a star fall! And I've made a small video out of the photos. :)
Then I went to a team photoshoot on Sunday and Monday. You'll see some photos on deviantart, with the details of who did what. It was a fun photoshoot, too bad someone in the team couldn't appreciate the fact that I had put in a lot of effort, not to speak of money spent on car gas and make up and my experience and knowledge that I've put to work freely. But, what's done is done, no need to complain since I've got some pretty decent shots of which I'm proud and I can finally say that I have improved my skills. And I've also discovered that me and dad make a quite good team. And then I've been having some nice photoshoot ideas lately, if only I had the time to do them before leaving back to France. But, no problem, I'll do them whenever I'm back. Plus I've discovered a special, astonishing appartament and I've been told I'll be allowed to make a shoot in there next time I'm in Romania.
And if you ask me of what impression the country made on me during this month, then I've got only one thing to say: it deserves it's fate. Everytime I complained about something being wrong, I've been told "well, this is Romania" in a way that sais it's normal for everything to be wrong in Romania, it's normal that things are unfair, uncared for and worse than ever, because that's what Romania stads for. Don't expect to pay by card or to find good roads, don't expect people to respect you and to keep things clean, this is Romania. That's all I've been hearing as an excuse! Well as long as people think like that, I'm sorry, but nothing is going to change for the better! Plus that the country expects to be treated as part of the EU when it doesn't treat the EU citizens the way it shuld. For example, my student card from UK was accepted in France without any problem, I had discounts and free museum entries. And I'm sure it would be recognized in any other EU member country. But no, not in Romania! In Romania they can not YET recognize any other student cards than Romanian ones. Then I go back in the West and cry that I'm not treated fairly and don't have the rights of other people for the fact that I'm Romanian. And of course I don't have them, if Romania treats them the way it does, the only problem is that it's not something I have established (the "rules" of Romania), yet I'm the one to suffer for them. And there are many others in my sittuation and I'm just sick of this whole deal! Sometimes I feel like moving on the top of a mountain to be simply a human, not a bank account, not a photo on a piece of paper with my name and so on....

I really like "Well, dear fairies, my birthday has come and gone". Though to be honest with you, in my mind it is read as: "Well my dears, time has come and gone. What now?"
I enjoy the thought and sound of "come and gone".
Hehe, don't mind me.
Life itself is a series of come-and-gone's. Some love it, some hate it, but it bounds us to the present moment, for as much as we have it...
